About BlackLace Cosmetics

Hi there! My name is Amber and I happen to be the owner and operator of BlackLace Cosmetics! We are a 5-free, vegan and cruelty-free artisan polish, based in Manitoba Canada! All colours will be limited unless it states otherwise.

Now for the nitty gritty!


I currently have a 1-5  business day turn around time and will ship orders Monday thru Friday. This does not include the time that It will take Canada Post to get it to you, this is just the time that it takes me to fill orders and send them on their way. This timeline is subject to change with new collection launches and Holiday times also.


Shipping Information

Orders are shipped Monday - Friday ONLY and exclude holidays in which the post office is closed. If I am unable to mail your purchase within the estimated time frame stated under the TAT / Processing Time section above or on the website’s front page due to a personal emergency or illness, I will contact you immediately. We can then discuss any and all possible options to find the best way to proceed with your order.
Orders are packaged with extreme care to help prevent damage during shipment. Nail polish bottles are placed in individual bubble bags before wrapped in tissue paper and packed into either a box or padded envelope with more tissue paper for extra padded. Each order includes a business card and thank-you note which includes polish application tips as well as a list of ingredients.
Please note that the shipping confirmation email you receive is automatically sent when I print out your shipping label and does not necessarily mean your order has actually been shipped. To help speed up the packaging process, shipping labels are typically printed out a few days prior to when an order is actually mailed. The tracking information in the confirmation email will be updated once your order has actually been dropped off at the post office.


Domestic Shipping Options

ALL ORDERS are shipped via CANADA POST

Delivery times vary for Canada Post. In Canada, the Expedited parcel can take 1 to 7 business day to get to you. For the united states Expedited parcel the USA can take 4-8 business days (should you choose to go that route. Air parcel is significantly cheaper but doesn't include tracking) All orders that are over $60 automatically get upgraded to Expedited Parcel.


International Shipping Options

I currently ONLY ship to the following international locations: Canada, United States, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. If you are interested in making a purchase and don't see your country listed, please email me with your location so I can look into shipping prices and possible restrictions.
All overseas / non-Domestic orders are automatically shipped via Canada post. Airmail whenever possible to keep shipping costs as low as possible.
Delivery times vary based on your location and how long it takes for your package to pass through customs. International orders have an estimated delivery time of 10 - 30* business days (excludes weekends/holidays).

*Please note that these are ESTIMATIONS ONLY and that all delivery times can vary. Situations such as bad weather and times of heavy shipping traffic (Christmas) can cause unavoidable delays, as well as clearing through customs. Delivery estimations exclude weekends and holidays.

International buyers are responsible for any and all additional customs fees/taxes.

Returns & Exchanges

Please open and inspect your purchase as quickly as possible once you have received it. If there is an issue, you must contact me within 3 business days of delivery. I’m sorry, but no exceptions. Refunds or exchanges will not be given if contacted after this period of time.

Due to the nature of the product, all nail polishes sales are FINAL. Once I have received your inquiry for either, I will do my best to resolve any complaints that you may or may not have.

Shipping costs are NON-REFUNDABLE. The buyer is also responsible for any costs included in the refund/exchange process and may be required to pay an additional shipping fee for an exchange.
